Monograph was prepared in June 1947 by lt. Col. Sasumu Tozuka and was based on his diary notes. A staff officer with the Eastern Detachment which conducted operations on Ambon and Timor, Col. Tozuka has augmented his narrative with recollections. Discusses the organization of the invasion forces, operations intelligence of Ambon, the plan of attack for the operation, operations on Ambon, the Japanese invasion of Timor Island, the plan of attack for the operation operations in Koepang Area and Dili Area in Timor.
