Author Information

Julie is a retired teacher who trained at Wagga Teachers College in 1961-1962. She has written many books for primary aged children but has been given a love for all children. Julie also writes poetry books for adults and teens. Leanne Deering is an Illustrator and Graphic Designer known for creating book cover artwork, character illustrations and multimedia designs. Through a blend of digital and traditional methods she creates unique and charming hand-drawn illustrations. Leanne lives in the beautiful city of Newcastle and has a Bachelor of Visual Communication in Graphic Design and Illustration/Animation and Interaction from the University of Newcastle Australia. When not immersed in her design projects she enjoys drawing, photography, reading books and watching movies.
