Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationRebecca Rose is a Nova Scotian queer femme writer, activist, and author of two books: Before the Parade: A History of Halifax's Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Communities (1972-1984) and Amazing 2SLGBTQIA+ People in Atlantic Canada. Rebecca holds a Journalism degree from Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU). Born in Cape Breton, Rebecca now lives in the hills of Dartmouth with her wife, child, and cat. James Bentley lives and works on the small island of Île-Perrot, just off Montréal, Québec. He studied and began his career as a freelance illustrator, a practice which gave him a great love for drawing. James has been recognized by The Society of Illustrators of New York, Communication Arts, and Applied Arts, and one of his most valued awards is The Joseph Morgan Henninger Award for Best of Show, given by the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles.
