OverviewAlways Spring: A collection of poetry that empowered emotional healing of multiple sclerosis symptoms was written to stretch myself beyond the infinite horizons of my thinking, my knowing, and my being, during a time of dealing with the emotional trauma of multiple sclerosis disease and physical and emotional symptoms. I decided to write poetry. If you allow your mind to stretch beyond the infinite horizon, it comes to know a different way of thinking and a different way of knowing and growing. That is why I wrote the poems in this book. It is possible the poems manifested themselves within me over the course of my life emerging during a time when I needed them most. I needed to write the poems because it made me feel better at the time of writing or it helped me explain what I was thinking about a small incident, such as having to wait or having to explain what I was thinking. The poems in this volume are nurtured from my thinking and from my own life experiences. The poems I wrote have allowed me a chance to reflect more deeply about the symptoms of MS that now impair me. She is most curious how the brain enables personal comprehension of self when new circumstances arise, such as the chronic diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, and the holistic nature of personal growth. She has received numerous awards for teaching. She has always had a passion for poetry since childhood when first learning how to read a rhyming book titled The House that Jack Built. It's possible the use of repetition and rhyme from this book provided the inspiration for her own love of poetry. Contact Dr. Israel at sueisrael@comcast.net. I invite you to create your own poetry and share a copy with me. I would love to read it. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
