Author Information

C.S. (Cindy) Boyll was born and raised on a farm in North Dakota to first-generation German Americans. She has spent her adult life writing, editing, and free lancing for newspapers and magazines. Now with four grandchildren, her writing interests have turned to children's literature and history. She married into a military family with deep roots in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army. The family's love of flying and its history became hers too. Find Cindy at www.csboyll.com. Illustrator Jessica Santiesteban was born and raised in a bi-lingual family on a ranch in Durango, Mexico. She had her first solo art exhibition in Mexico at age 21 and published children's books there. As an adult with two young children, she immigrated to the U.S. and became a naturalized citizen in December 2020.
