Chiaki Yagura is a manga artist based in Japan who is a member of the artist circle “HIGH GAIN BOOKS.” They are a regular exhibitor at the COMITIA comic market in Japan, where they sell their self-published works. At the age of 28, they published their first original short story manga, ALTERNATIVE[SELF LINER NOTE], at COMITIA 130 in 2019. They are an avid lover of rock music, and are a guitar player themselves. Chiaki Yagura’s beautiful artwork and homages to alternative rock music will leave readers craving more from this rising talent.
