She is a former Banting Postdoctoral Fellow whose research on the intersections of culture, gender and physical activity has been published widely in journals such as Ethnic and Racial Studies and Identities: Global Studies in Culture and Power. Dr. Wesley Crichlow is a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Canada. He is an interdisciplinary youth scholar and community social justice activist who works with socially and economically disadvantaged youth, engaging in community empowerment. He works with others to transform criminal justice rehabilitation models to be more inclusive, culturally-relevant, and engaging for disenfranchised communities.
