Ernest Uwazie, PhD, is a Professor of Criminal Justice and Director of the Center for African Peace and Conflict Resolution at California State University, Sacramento, California. He teaches courses on comparative justice, dispute resolution and restorative justice, minorities and justice, among others. He is a renowned ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) mediation trainer, practitioner, scholar, and system designer.
