In addition to her writing, Crystal leads and oversees Wimbrey Worldwide Ministries, a nonprofit organization with a commitment to giving back to the community. As a part of one of her many missions to make a difference, and as a believer in the right of every child to have an education, she contributed to an international partnership for student's education in Guatemala--sponsoring six elementary schools, including its highly anticipated first middle school.
