Cristle Nelson is a neurodivergent (often self-described as neurospicy), queer whose work is shaped by a deeply personal and imaginative view of the world. She channels her perspective into a wide range of creative projects, with a focus on connection, inclusion, and amplifying experiences that are frequently overlooked or misunderstood. Through her art, Cristle celebrates individuality and believes that each person's sense of comfort, belonging, and normalcy should be as unique as they are. Gayle Nelson places creativity at the center of her daily life. A wife, mother, grandmother, and educator, she is passionate about inspiring others to discover their own unique creative voice. She works with artists of all ages through studio practice, classroom instruction, and traveling workshops, sharing techniques while continually learning from new perspectives. A native of the Milwaukee area, Gayle draws lasting inspiration from both urban and rural landscapes.
