He is the president of the International Association of Media Tie-in Writers and the editor of Weird Tales magazine. Weston Ochse won the Bram Stoker Award for First Novel with Scarecrow Gods and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize for Appalachian Galapagos. He is a retired Army intelligence officer and works for the Defense Intelligence Agency.
