Alison Lauer is a Florida native and proud mother of two, Elijah and Stella. She enjoys reading, writing, and beach adventures, and she maintains a healthy mix of fear and admiration for alligators. While a piece of her heart will always belong in the swamp, she spends most mornings in Atlantic Beach with her children, soaking up the warm sun and salty water. Like Ali the Alligator, Alison has had big feet for most of her life and wasn't always sure how to feel about them. Her twin brother's teasing nickname-""salmon snatchers""-didn't exactly help her self-esteem! But with time, she learned to embrace them, love them, and celebrate what makes her unique. When she isn't busy being a mom or a wife, Alison loves to run, swim, cook, volunteer and explore new art classes whenever she can.
