Overview

On a late-night hunt, World War 2 veteran Eugene Yates was attacked by something. Ever since, he's started changing. When a young black girl is found torn to pieces, Eugene begins to believe he may be responsible. Stone Hill's new deputy, Justin Miller, has his own suspicions about the little girl's death. Was it simply a wild animal attack as the sheriff says? Could it have been the town's most outspoken and sadistic racist, angry that integration is coming to Stone Hill's schools? Both Eugene and Deputy Miller question themselves and everyone around them. In a town sitting on a racial powder-keg, in a time of constant change, things will get very dark beneath the full moon.
