Author Information
Keynin Carl Battle was born in 1996 at Sacred Heart Hospital during a winter storm, with the facility operating on generators. His name is inspired by actor Kenan Thompson from the sitcom All That, while his middle name, Carl, honors his great-grandfather, David Carl Hill, a former army serviceman. The last months of 2025 brought sadness as his great-grandma sold the family home and his great aunt passed away. Despite these challenges, Keynin cherishes memories from the 2023 family reunion at Sunset Lake Retreat in Federal Way, WA, where he enjoyed time with family, celebrating their Parr-ty Family Reunion.
