Author Information

Xavier Roy was born in southwestern France in 1938 as the son of an artist mother and father in advertising. At twenty-three he began his career with Editions Musicales Vogues in sales and responsibility for artist PR. In 1968 he joined REED Midem and became CEO of the organization in 1989. Traveling widely, both for professional and personal reasons, he came into contact with different cultures. He bought his first camera in Singapore in 1977 and continued traveling with a creative and photographic eye. His works have been exhibited in many magazines, books, and galleries in France and the United States.
