Author Information

Caitlin Kwasny is a proud mother of two from the middling town of Bloomington, Illinois. All Along: You Are Brave and Strong is her first literary work, which was inspired by her daughter's medical journey. The inspiration for the story came to her during a long hospital stay that included multiple surgeries for her daughter. While sitting in a dark hospital room with her daughter, who was cuddling her stuffed-animal dinosaurs, surrounded by beeping hospital monitors and nurses passing in the hallway, Caitlin wrote this story to inspire families of children in similar circumstances as a way to help their children be brave and strong--just like Caitlin's daughter.
