Author Information

Irwin M. Siegel, M.D. is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Orthopedic Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Neurological Sciences at the Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. He holds academic teaching posts at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Northwestern University College of Medicine, the University of Chicago Hospitals, and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on a variety of medical subjects. He lives in Evanston, Illinois, with his wife, Barbara, an educational psychologist. In addition, he is the author of All About Bone: An Owner's Manual, All About Joints and Muscular Dystropy in Children: A Guide for Families.
