Edison Boaventura Junior was born on the 12th December 1966 in the city of Santos, Brazil. He dedicates himself to research work on Ufology since 1981 adopting a scientific line of research, investigating hundreds of incidents involving abductions, missing individuals, landings and observations of unidentified flying objects, the majority of events occurring in the north and south shores of the State of Sao Paulo. He founded - on the 4th August 1985 the GUG - The Ufology Group of Guaruja and is currently the President of this important ufology institution. A number of his writings were published in books, magazines, journals and newspapers of various countries. He participated in both national and international events as a speaker in congresses, symposiums, etc. Eminently the Primer Congreso Oviniologico Chileno Internacional (The First Chilean International UFO Congress) in Santiago from the 21st to the 23rd June 1996 when he presented the Varginha Case. Along with radio programs, he also participated in many national and international TV programs (History Channel, TV ] of France and Belgium, and others). On the 5th November 1996 he was invited by Marco Aurelio Ferreira da Gama, Aeronautical Colonel, chief commander of the BAST - Santos Air Force Base, to give a talk on Ufology. He writes articles, periodically, for the web portal Burn (Brazilian UFO Research Network, www.portalburn.com.br) where he holds the position of Field Research Director. He has travelled to many countries to investigate the UFO phenomena, countries such as Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Japan, Arab Emirates, England, France, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile. At the present time he is surveying the Brazilian military UFO researchers' performance on the national territory. He is inevitably the Brazilian investigator most liable to possess the wider number of official documents on the issue, provided by the Aeronautical, Military, Marine, SNI (ABIN) and Civil and Military Police.
