She loved it. Anna 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Alice in Wonderland book for casual readers or collectorsReviewed in the United States on March 27, 2023 Verified Purchase This paperback book's front and back cover are beautiful and continuous of one another. The illustrations are based on Sir John Tenniel's, who is rightly credited for his work. While Sir John Tenniel's tend to have the people looking slightly more grotesque, Hannes Huber's rendition although slightly less detailed, seems to have more delicate features notable, especially on the humans, which makes it more appealing to look at, in my opinion. The formatting appears to all be intact. It's the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland. My recommendation is to buy this book. It's such a great deal and such a lovely addition to an Alice in Wonderland collection. I've included some comparison photos from this book and the world's first full-length, full-colour edition with Tenniel's black and white drawings colourized. Additionally, this author does have a German edition that was translated. I do not read/speak/understand German, but I think that's pretty neat.
