He has a strong interest in waste management, pollution and renewable energy as his PhD was focused on the same issue. Moreover, in the university he has also dealt with water conservation and management, water auditing and water use efficiency in agriculture. He has published many research articles in reputed, referred national and international journals. He has also presented many research papers at national and international conferences. Previously, he worked as Research Associate with Water resources division in The Energy and Research Institute (TERI) and currently working as Assistant Professor in Higher Education Department Government of Jammu and Kashmir. Dr Malla has recently edited two books with Elsevier Press on “Valorization of Microalgal Biomass and Wastewater Treatment” and “Environmental Sustainability of Biofuels”. He has also edited one book published by Springer Nature Singapore on “Biofuels in circular economy”. Suhaib A. Bandh is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at Govt. Degree College DH Pora, teaching the courses of Environmental Science and Disaster Management. He is a member of the Academy of Plant Sciences India and National Environmental Science Academy. He is a recipient of many awards. He has participated in several national and international conferences held by different reputed scientific bodies in India and abroad. He has a few monographs and several scientific publications to his credit, published in some highly reputed and impacted journals, which attest to his scientific insight, fine experimental skills, and outstanding writing skills.
