Overview

Alfie is an expat kid and his life is very different compared to other kids he knows. In this series of children's picture books, Alfie (with the help of his dog Oak) sets out to learn about the world around him as he grows up as a third culture kid in a country that isn't his own. With themes of belonging, relationships, diversity and multiculturalism; Alfie's life is explored through the book series, telling the adventurous tales of a curious young expat boy and his dog Oak.

Born in the UK to English and Lebanese-Armenian parents, and raised in Dubai since the age of five, Giselle is what they call an 'expat brat'.  She is a creative producer and copywriter, having worked with some of the world's leading retail and hospitality brands, and a mum of two.
