Das 1571 erstmals nachgewiesene Gut Stiegelmar wurde von Georg Stiegelmar, einem Pionier des burgenl ndischen Qualit tsweinbaus, vor allem in den 1980ern ausgebaut. Schon 1983 begann er als einer der ersten sterreichischen Winzer mit dem Barrique-Ausbau f r Rotwein. Der Name Juris wurde sp ter zur Unterscheidung von gleichnamigen Winzern eingef hrt.
