Author Information

Françoise Choay is a writer, art critic, and historian of architecture and urban forms. She is the former director of the Institut d'Urbanisme de París VIII and has taught at numerous European and American universities. In 1995, she earned the Grand Prix National du Patrimoine. Her books include La terre qui meurt, Le Patrimoine en questions. Anthologie pour un combat, and Pour une anthropologie de l'espace.
