Overview

Das Albert-Schumann-Theater, allgemein auch Schumanntheater oder Circus Schumann genannt, war ein Theater und Variete gegenuber dem Hauptbahnhof in Frankfurt am Main. Es wurde 1905 erbaut und 1944 durch Bomben bis auf die Jugendstil-Fassade und die Restaurants im Kopfbau zerstort. Noch bis 1958 wurden die Restaurants durch die amerikanischen Streitkrafte genutzt. 1960 wurden die Reste des Schumanntheaters abgerissen und durch ein unscheinbares Burohaus ersetzt.
