Clum (Ph.D., Princeton), Professor Emeritus of Theater Studies and English at Duke University, is the author of monographs and numerous essays on American and British drama, gay drama, film and musical theatre. He is also a playwright, librettist and director. John is President of the Edward Albee Society. Natka Bianchini (Ph.D., Tufts University) is Associate Professor of Theatre at Loyola University Maryland. She is the author of numerous articles on Samuel Beckett and Edward Albee, including her monograph, Samuel Beckett’s Theatre in America, (2015). In addition to her teaching and scholarship, she is a professional director with more than 30 directing credits on the local, regional, and university theatre level.
