Explorers and nature darlings can participate in all the climbing and journeying here, ocean side sweethearts have the Albanian Riviera along the Ionian coast, and history buffs can wonder about the country's uncrowded UNESCO locales in Butrint (an old Roman city), Berat, and Gjirokastër. Albania is ok, with additional travelers visiting every year. I figure it will become as famous (and costly) as Croatia in the following two or three years, so visit now before the groups come.
