OverviewIn Alaska, the plumber gas license requires 4,000 hours with 2,000 being specifically in gas fuel piping, and the plumber utility license requires 1,000 hours of work in the installation of water, sewer, or storm lines. Without meeting these requirements one may not attempt to take the gas fitting exam.
