Reviews

""The dream team of Troll and Kirk have done it again with their collaboration on Alaska's Dinosaurs, Mammoths, and More! This is a wonderfully illustrated and written book highlighting some of the state's awesome ancient life. The book works its way through time, starting in the Triassic Period, 215 million years ago and goes right up to our current epoch, the Holocene. Now I just hope this is a series, I want a book for every state!"" —Kallie Moore, paleontologist and author of Tales of the Prehistoric World ""What a joy to explore Alaska's rich fossil record in this stunning new book! I have never seen such a collection of art and stories that captures the unique animals and landscapes that define prehistoric Alaska."" —Amy Atwater, paleontologist and author of The Fossil Keeper's Treasures ""Ray and Kirk are the perfect combination. They are the peanut butter and jelly of paleontology."" —Gary Staab, paleoartist, naturalist, and maker ""A captivating exploration of the prehistoric life that once thrived in Alaska. This is a great resource for sparking curiosity in young minds about the ancient world and the science behind paleontological discoveries."" —Chad Richins, Readers' Favorite
