Der Autor: Erwin Tschirner ist Assistant Professor fuer Deutsch an der University of Iowa. Er erhielt sein Ph.D. in Germanistik von der University of California, Berkeley, und sein M.A. in Deutsch von der University of Colorado, Boulder. Professor Tschirner ist Mitautor von zwei Lehrbuechern: 'Kontakte: Communicative Approach' und 'Assoziationen'.
