My children, like countless others, couldn't find superheroes who looked like them - their dads, uncles, brothers, or grandfathers.Representation matters. Historically, there's been a gap in major animated films, books, and comics when it comes to African action heroes.That's why I created Akiti the Hunter, a real action hero inspired by African folklore.
