Steven Holzner Ph.D. (Ithaca, New York) is the author of 100 technology books, including bestsellers such as Ajax for Dummies and Inside JavaScript. His books have been translated into 18 languages and have sold more than 2 million copies. He specializes in writing about online applications, and has authored popular books on the components of Ajax including JavaScript, XML, browser objects, and Web services.
