She is also the author of Confluence from Sundress Publications (2015) and four chapbooks of poetry and lyric essays. Sandy's baseball poetry appears widely in Poet Lore, Blackbird, Baseball Prospectus, Southwest Review, FanGraphs, and elsewhere. Her prose on the game can be found at Barrelhouse, Fansided, Hobart, and Pleiades. Sandy is Poetry Editor Emerita at River Styx Magazine and earned an MFA in Creative Writing--Poetry from George Mason University.
