When a fleet of miners ventures to the Crescent Islands seeking copper and legendary temple gold, they awaken an ancient curse. A vengeful storm decimates the ships. Survivors sacrifice their treasure to save the drowning, returning home empty-handed-only to discover that family was the fortune they sought all along. One zeppelin escapes the storm but drifts for weeks into uncharted waters, crash-landing on the mysterious island of Canyon Myst. Here, humans and fae live under an uneasy pact, bound by the Law of Exchange: the island never gives-only trades. The Mystics offer coal, provisions, and repairs. But the mines reveal gold and gems beyond measure, and greed takes hold. What the crew doesn't know: time moves differently on Canyon Myst. Each day is worth more than it seems. Aden, an orphaned aeronaut, and Kira, a fae princess promised to another, fall into forbidden love while exploring a submerged ancient city.
