OverviewAir Pollution is widespread and a growing challenge to the international community, with known impacts on local and global health and the environment. Governments face a need to balance concern over these impacts with maintaining or improving economic development. Science is the key to identifying the nature and scale of air pollution impacts and is essential in the formulation of effective policies and regulations.
