Prof. Reda Mohamed Said Abdelaal (registered member of the Egyptian Syndicate for Professional Engineers) received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt, in 1979; an M.Eng. degree in Operations Research from the same university in 1982; and a Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from the School of Industrial Technology, Bradford University, England, in 1986. Since 1986, he has worked as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor with the Department of Production Engineering, College of Engineering, Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. His bibliography is included in Marquis Who's Who in the World (14th ed., 1997). In 2000, he joined King Abdulaziz University (KAU) as a Full Professor with the Department of Industrial Engineering, College of Engineering. He was the Director of the College Academic Accreditation Unit (AAU) from 2004 to 2007 and an active member of the College Accreditation Support Unit from May 2007 to 2021. He was the manager of the Strategic Planning Unit at the Vice-Presidency for Business and Knowledge Creativity from 2017 to 2021. He also held the position of Distinguished Adjunct Professor at King Abdulaziz University from August 2021 to December 2023. He has been recognized as an IDEAL Scholar by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET, USA) and earned 21 professional development hours from ABET. Dr. Abdelaal has participated in constructing and implementing strategic planning for several public and private organizations, and he has been involved in more than 30 training programs both inside and outside Egypt, including in Arab and foreign countries. He has served as an investigator/co-investigator for more than 35 funded projects and has received over 20 appreciation certificates from different sectors. Dr. Abdelaal was a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at AlMaarefa University from July 2023 to June 2024 and currently serves as an independent researcher based in Egypt. In 2025, he contributed a book chapter titled ""The Strategic Transformation Journey of AlMaarefa University: Navigating New Horizons"" as part of the book ""Navigating Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Global Higher Education,"" published by IGI Global. His research interests and publications cover areas such as operations research, system analysis and design, strategic planning, industrial scheduling models, engineering education, multi-criteria decision-making, assessment, and accreditation subjects. Mustafa Kayyali, an ardent advocate for excellence in higher education, driven by a relentless pursuit of quality, recognition, and innovation. My journey in academia started with a Master's in Quality Management and Evaluation in Higher Education from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, followed by a Ph.D. in Quality Management from Azteca University. These academic pursuits have laid a strong foundation for my expertise in Accreditation, Quality Assurance, and Higher Education Rankings. As an entrepreneur, researcher, translator, and publisher, I am deeply involved in various facets of the academic world. My diverse interests encompass Management, Translation, Interpretation, and Academic consulting, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of the industry. Throughout my career, I have made significant contributions to academic literature, with more than 40 published papers and 30 book chapters to my name. Additionally, I take pride in having translated 6 books, bridging language gaps, and promoting knowledge exchange on a global scale.
