Gamze Sart was awarded the PhD degree in the field of Educational Sciences in Bogazici University in 2013. She worked as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education, Yeditepe University in 2013 and Hasan Ali Yucel Faculty of Education, Istanbul University during the period 2014-2018 and as an Associate Professor in the Hasan Ali Yucel Faculty of Education, Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, since 2018.
