Author Information

Alok Kumar Patra graduated in Agriculture from Chiplima campus of Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology in 1988, obtained his M. Sc. (Agriculture) in Agronomy from Institute of Agriculture, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan in 1990 and Ph. D. from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Mohanpur, West Bengal in 1996. He has an MBA degree from IGNOU, New Delhi. Dr. Patra has published more than 90 research papers, 125 popular scientific articles and bulletins, ten books and 35 book chapters. He has 30 years of experience in research and teaching in UG and PG level on agroforestry and agronomy. Presently he is working as Professor of Agronomy in the All India Coordinated Research Project on Integrated Farming Systems, OUAT, Bhubaneswar 751003. Manas Ranjan Nayak graduated in Forestry from College of Forestry under Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar in 2010, obtained his M. Sc. (Forestry) in Silviculture & Agroforestry from the same institute in 2012 and Ph. D. from ASPEE College of Horticulture & Forestry, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, Gujarat in 2015. Dr. Nayak has published more than 40 research papers, 45 popular scientific articles and bulletins, seven books and ten book chapters. He has eight years of experience in research, extension and teaching on agroforestry. Presently he is working as Assistant Professor of Forestry in the All India Coordinated Research Project on Agroforestry, OUAT, Bhubaneswar 751003.
