Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationIan Nuberg is Senior Lecturer in Agroforestry in the School of Agriculture, Food and Wine, University of Adelaide. His teaching covers agroforestry, extension and NRM. His recent research activities cover tree water use, effect of shelter on crops, biomass-energy, and fuelwood systems in Asia-Pacific region. During the course of editing this book he was the Leader of the Education and Extension Program in the Cooperative Research Centre for Plant-Based Management of Dryland Salinity. Brendan George is the Industry Leader for Private Forestry and Bioenergy in the NSW Department of Primary Industries. His work covers forestry extension, policy development and development of bioenergy opportunities within Australia as part of the International Energy Agency Bioenergy program focussing on short rotation crops. His research includes water quality in forested catchments and plantation establishment in low-rainfall areas. Rowan Reid is a Senior Lecturer in Farm Trees and Agroforestry in the Department of Forest and Ecosystem Science at the University of Melbourne, and the coordinator of the National Master Tree Grower Program, which provides educational support for farmers interested in growing trees for conservation and profit.
