Connie Clyburn has been known to climb a mountainside for a story. It's true! Her writing career began as a newspaper reporter in her native East Tennessee, before traveling into the coal country of Kentucky to work at weekly newspapers there. She lives in the country and finds ideas all around her from the fox chasing a rooster down her walkway to surviving fierce winter storms with over 3 feet of snow.
