She has been teaching for over twenty years to students who major in English language and literature. Her research areas include foreign language teaching and learning, and discourse analyses. In the recent years, she is particularly interested in Chinese students’ agency in English learning and has published a dozen of articles in this regard and in related areas. Dr. Lin has also participated in various research projects at institutional, provincial, and national levels.
