Overview

In a dystopian future where the Himalayan mountains conceal the sanctuary of the Ashram, a community thrives under the guidance of the benevolent AI, Indrani. Arjun Gilpa, a robotics engineer, faces execution for stealing food to feed his family. Given a choice between death and service, he joins the Deadheads, operatives tasked with venturing into the perilous Deadlands to protect the Ashram and return with resources and technology. As he undergoes genetic modifications with Somaah, Arjun learns of humanity's downfall due to bestial pursuits and reckless DNA tampering, which birthed the morally bankrupt Kalinga Empire. His first mission reveals the horrors of Kalinga's failed experiments, and he quickly realizes that the battle for unspoiled DNA-food, animals, and humans-is at the heart of this conflict. As Kalinga forces close in on the Ashram's location, Arjun uncovers dark secrets of other dimensional manipulation and a larger struggle for purity.
