Sara Bertrand estudió Historia y Periodismo en la Universidad Católica de Chile. En 2007 ganó una beca de creación literaria del Fondo del Libro. Ha trabajado en diferentes medios de comunicación escrita y ha participado en la investigación de libros de Historia. En 2016, obtuvo el Premio Banco del libro de Venezuela. En 2017 ganó el Premio New Horizons de la Feria del Libro Infantil de Bolonia. Sara Bertrand studied History and Journalism at the Catholic University of Chile. In 2007, she won a creative writing scholarship from the Fondo del Libro (Book Fund). She has worked in various print media and has participated in research for history books. In 2016, she won the Banco del Libro de Venezuela Award. In 2017, she won the New Horizons Prize at the Bologna Children's Book Fair.
