His personal story of living with his own alcoholism, all the while caring for a chronically ill spouse and working as a ""professional Christian"" staff member of one of the Nashville area's most high profile congregations, has given him a unique platform among the faith-based recovery community as well as various other audiences. David is a featured guest on a variety of podcasts, as well as conferences, and retreats.
