Overview

This is my story told from my perspective and the way I saw or felt things. Some of these experiences were what I personally went through or what I saw my siblings went through. This book is personally for healing and achievements. To help and educate people that was dealt a bad hand. Nobody expects to have a family pathology given to them. This family pathology is normally passed down from generation to generation. Monea Jones was just born into a dysfunctional family then adopted into what she thought was a good home. Later down the line, she realizes that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Coming from two different backgrounds, Monea Jones had to use both aspects of life to get her through on the most difficult obstacles after her families failed her. Monea expected the system to step in. But the system has its flaws. So instead of making matter better, things got worse. Now growing up having her own kids, she has been trying her best to not have her kids go through certain experience she had to witnessed or deal with as the adults before her, from walking into complete strangers home playing families to getting to know her own biological family. Monea yearns for her own family. No one said it was going to be easy for her or that life was going to deal her a good hand. It was up to her to find a different prospect to approach these deeply rooted problems and still come out as clean as a whistle. But with the grace of God and a new support system, she gains a little bit of herself back that she lost some many years ago when she was young girl, little by little conquering situations, trying to break this vicious cycle even though so many before was in her same shoes. Sometimes falling victim to defeat knowing her main objective is for history to not be a present future.
