Overview

Afrocoop Business Scoops is a cooperative network of resources headquartered in Dibamba, a suburb of Douala, Cameroon's economic capital. The company was created on March 17, 2025 by 08 Cameroonian and Togolese cooperatives to mark the 8th anniversary of Coop-Cameroon and the United Nations International Year of Cooperatives, with the aim of developing intra-African trade and intercooperation between Africa and other continents. The company will deploy all its resources to develop the activities of its members through the General Secretariat, whose Secretary General is an international expert from the Black world community, and the Deputy Secretaries General for the 05 African sub-regions, who are international experts from Africa. The Executive Secretaries of the 33 cooperative action departments, their national directors and regional department heads are 90% international experts from other continents. The national secretaries of the 17 initial national cooperative sections and the permanent secretaries of the 212 initial regional branches are international experts.
