In a step of unprecedented bravery she finally confronted her abuser and saw justice done when he was charged and convicted of seven accounts of rape and indecent assault. Sharon continues her work with rape and abuse victims and speaks publicly on how to help survivors of crime. She lives in Grays, Essex with her family.
