Hans-Georg Ehrhart is senior research fellow and director of the Centre for European Peace and Security Studies (ZEUS) of the Institute for Peace Research and Security Policy at the University of Hamburg (IFSH). Sven Bernhard Gareis is deputy head of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at the Führungsakademie der Bundeswehr and professor of political science at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster. Charles C. Pentland is professor of political studies at Queen's University, in Kingston, Ontario.
