Overview

"A 12-week biblical study designed for Christian groups and churches. The problem for the Church today is that we live in a world where it's no longer good enough to be tolerant. Today's cultural construal requires endless affirmation. It's no longer acceptable to passively endure the worldly waywardness of humanity (albeit not a righteous perspective in itself). Now, trending is something never seen before, a dubious emphasis fixated on an ongoing mandate to affirm, without regard for established moral values, traditional values, and little respect for biblical values. For example, statements such as ""love is love,"" ""marriage equality,"" ""my life, my body,"" and ""don't judge me"" have become commonplace in our society. While these pithy, ideological slogans are attractive to those who hold views contrary to the Bible, it is the calling of the genuine corporate body of believers in Jesus Christ to set the record straight. If the Church doesn't stand for righteousness, then who will? When Jesus said, ""You are the light of the world...let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven,"" he meant that the darkness and evil customs of the world should not be allowed to grace the entranceway of his Church. He meant for his Holy Spirit to feel welcomed and affirmed in his church rather than those with a distorted view of the Truth and Way."
