Overview

Derek Michael Sanders grew up in the Kansas City area where he currently resides with his wife, son and three dogs. After graduating from high school, Derek went on to study business in college where he graduated with honors. He had always dreamt of writing stories in lands and worlds of the fantastical, but it wasn't until 2020 when he really started to put pen to paper. As the world shut down around him due to COVID-19, he was busy building his own world, Artera, where The Royal Guild of Investigations, along with future stories, takes place. To further his dreams of creating stories, Derek and two close friends came up with the idea of narratively telling their Dungeons & Dragons campaign as an ongoing web novel titled The Ridgeton Tales. This led them to create Three Dragons Media, a hub for the three authors to publish The Ridgeton Tales, along with their individual creative works.
