Starting as an actor in commercials and industrial films, worked as a precision driver, hand model, voice over actor, auto show narrator, and even did a few stints at stand up. For eight years, she worked as a talent agent and for fifteen years has worked as a principle casting director. Simultaneously, she was a dramatist and a screenwriter. Her two short films received awards in film contests. Pound worked for legends like Clint Eastwood, Drew Barrymore, George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Spike Lee and Eminem. Along with advice, Janet has included over thirty of her original monologues and poems that can be used for performance pieces.
